Hello Friends and Family,

For those new to the Cal U Hockey Club: welcome! With 13 CHE championships, a National Championship in 2008, and multiple National Tournament appearances the bar has been set high for this season. We look forward to the future success of the club, both on and off the ice.

This year, for the first time in a long time, we are bringing back our booster club, to be named the Red Line Booster Club. The goals of this organization are simple: 

1) allow the fans to get closer to the team

2) create another fundraising organization to help players offset the cost of collage hockey

3) Let the players spend more time focusing on school and hockey. 

The Red Line Booster Club will provide financial and moral support to the Vulcan Hockey Club and will help organize things like meals for team travel, player awards, and alumni and other social events.

While the Hockey Club does receive financial support from the university this amount only covers a fraction of the cost the club incurs every year. All the money raised by the Red Line Booster Club will go directly toward supporting the Hockey Club, with the primary goal being the reduction of player fees and the improvement of the overall student athlete experience. 

The Red Line Booster Club is open to all parents of players past and present, Vulcan Hockey Alumni, and anyone interested in helping the PennWest California Vulcans hockey teams.

Membership in the Red Line Booster Club for the 2022-23 season will cost $50 per person. As a thank you for your membership you will receive a custom Red Line Booster Club t-shirt and invitations to special events like alumni events and special tailgates before the games.

 If you are interested in joining the Booster Club, please email Patrick Kenny at kenny@pennwest.edu . We will be looking for volunteers to assist with everything from game day preparations to assisting with road and home game meals. All help will be appreciated.
