California, PA – The Vulcans are saddened to announce the death of Tim Texter, former assistant coach for Cal 1 and contributor to many of the successful coaches that helped build the Vulcans hockey program.  Tim served as an assistant coach during two stints for the Vulcans, first from 2003-05 and then again from 2013-14.

Tim unexpectedly passed away early on February 8, 2023. While he had a great passion for hockey, he, unfortunately, left behind what meant most to him his family. Those that wish to pay their condolences to the family can do so at the Neely Funeral Home on Monday, February 13th, from 1-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14th, at St. Matthew Parish at the St. Bonaventure Church Campus beginning at 10 am.

With the unexpected nature of the passing, a GoFundMe has been set up to help the family during their time of need. For those that wish to read more about Tim or if you wish to support the family, please visit the following link. https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-honor-of-tim-tex-texter
