Box Score

Rostraver, PA- Coming off a heartbreaking loss to CCAC last weekend the Vulcans came out firing on all cylinders to repay the Huskies with an 11-1 victory.

For the Vulcans it started early and often on the offensive end with nine of their 11 goals coming in the first two periods.  Although their most dominate period was the second where they outscored the Huskies 5-0 and outshot them 20-8.

It was Jake Blair that led the charge scoring the games opening goal and adding another later in the contest to go along with four assists to give him a six-point evening.  Blair wasn’t the only Vulcan to put up large numbers as Tanner Deardorff added two goals and three assists himself on the evening.  All in all eight Vulcans scored goals while 12 managed to record at least one point on the night.  In net Tallen Stroman recorded a strong performance stopping 22 of 23 shots faced.

The Vulcans return to action again this weekend hosting Wittenburg University on Friday with a 9:45 pm puck drop and on Saturday against Penn State Altoona with a 4:15 pm puck drop.  Both games will be held at the Rostraver Ice Garden.
