GREENWAY HIRED AS CAL 1 HEAD COACH

California, PA- Coming off of his fifth season with the Vulcans Ice Hockey Club, the board of directors has officially tabbed Jason Greenway as the next head coach for Cal 1.  Jason will become only the fourth head coach in the Vulcans history and second since 2005.

During the past five seasons Jason has spent time with both Cal 1 and Cal 2.  His first three seasons with the Vulcans came as an assistant for Cal 2 where he was a member of the clubs first ever back-to-back CHA championships.  Following his time with Cal 2 he moved onto the Cal 1 bench over the past two seasons where he helped with guiding the Vulcans to back-to-back CHE championships and ACHA National Tournament appearances.  Most recently during last season Jason was promoted to Associate Head Coach.

Outside of his time with Cal U, Jason has established an extensive playing and coaching resume.  During college Jason played for Niagara University and the University of Findlay NCAA Division I. Upon finishing college, Jason spent time playing hockey professionally for the Wheeling Nailers ECHL, Danbury Thrashers UHL, Wichita Thunder CHL, Memphis Riverkings CHL, Huntsville Channel Cats SPHL and the Knoxville Ice Bears SPHL.  After his playing days were over he then began his coaching career where he spent four seasons as an assistant coach with Buffalo State College, NCAA Division II, from 2005-2009

Jason is a graduate of the University of Findlay with a dual major in Business Management and International Business. Currently Jason resides in Gibsonia, PA.
