Ed Newill leaving the program to pursue other options.

California, PA- It was announced earlier this week that Cal 2 Head Coach Ed Newill is leaving the program to pursue other options.  Newill had served as the teams head coach for the past six seasons dating back to 2010-11.  During that time period he posted a record of 83-39-3 with only one losing season.  His most notable seasons came in 2011-12 and 2012-13 when he was able to deliver back-to-back CHA Championships.

While a member of the Vulcans coaching staff, Coach Newill provided great knowledge and experience to his players and assistants.  Along with the day-to-day coaching operations Coach Newill served as an integral part of the recruiting for both men’s teams.

The entire club would like to thank Coach Newill for his dedication and commitment to the program.  We all wish him and his family nothing but continued success in their future plans.
