California, PA-   In a summer of changes the Vulcans introduced Greg Hulbert as the sixth head coach in the history of the Cal 2 team.  The move for Hulbert comes just one year after he joined the Cal 2 staff as an assistant coach.

Before originally joining the Vulcans staff Greg assembled himself a long coaching resume.  The majority of his coaching has taken place within the Butler Valley Amateur Hockey Association where he coached at the Pee Wee, Midget 16U and Bantam 14U levels.  During his time with Butler Valley Greg had the opportunity of traveling to numerous tournaments competing against some of the best completion including both the Silver Sticks Regional and International tournaments.  Currently along with the new role he has earned with the Vulcans, Greg will also serve as a Varsity Assistant for the Seneca Valley Hockey Association.

Greg comes into this position looking to build off of last season hoping to win the team’s first championship since the 2012-13 season for Cal 2.  To go along with leading the Cal 2 team Greg will also be working side by side with Cal 1 head coach Jason Greenway as they look to establish a new path within the men’s hockey program at Cal U.
