DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Saturday February 11, 2017 ~ Rostraver Ice Garden ~ 7:30 p.m.
CLOSING OUT THE 2016-17 CAMPAIGN: The Vulcans look to finish the 2016-17 season picking up a victory in their final contest. They enter this weekend following a disappointing two game stretch that saw them fall to Penn State Altoona 11-1 and Case Western Reserve 10-1. On Saturday, they will hope to close out the game against the Bobcats unlike the first meeting that saw Pitt-Greensburg win in overtime. In that first meeting, it was Tommy Intrieri that led the Vulcans scoring two of their three goals on the evening. After a late third period goal to tie the game the Vulcans were not able to build off that moment into the overtime period when the Bobcats scored just over a minute into the extra period.
CHE PLAYOFFS: With the regular season set to end this weekend, many of the playoffs spots for the Open Tier 1 are set. St. Vincent determines the final playoff spot, win and they are in, loss to CCAC and Case Western grabs the final spot.
