Women Set To Welcome Old Rival

THE GAME:  California University of Pennsylvania Vulcans (2-5, 2-5) vs. West Chester University Golden Rams (1-4, 0-4)

DATE/LOCATION/TIME:  November 10, 2017 ~ Rostraver Ice Garden ~ 9:45 p.m. ~ November, 11, 2017 ~ Rostraver Ice Garden ~ 4:15 p.m.

FINDING THE WAY:  Both teams are trying to find the glory that once was.  After starting 2-0, the Vulcans have now dropped five straight games including their most recent thumping from ACHA East powerhouse Buffalo last weekend.  West Chester is coming off of their lone win this season last weekend against Rowan University.  Currently, both teams sit towards the bottom of their respective divisions within the CHE.

HISTORY: The Vulcans and Golden Rams have a very storied history, one of which has featured multiple CHE playoff and championship matchups, ACHA National Tournament games and overtime winners.  West Chester has won the past two meetings between the two which included a CHE Championship game and ACHA National Tournament contest in 2016.  Although, the Vulcans currently hold the lead in the all-time series for the two schools at 13-11-2.

VULCANS LEADING SCORERS:  The Vulcans are led offensively by Jayda Mears with 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points, Maureen Gavin with six goals and six assists for 12 points and Morgan Gloeckl with five goals and three assist for eight points.  In net the Vulcans are led by Tamara Bobogie who is 2-5 with a 5.43 GAA and a .876 save percentage.

GOLDEN RAMS LEADING SCORERES:  The Golden Rams are led offensively by Kelli Bryan with four goals and three assists for seven point, Jada McBride with two goals and two assists for four point and Mallory Norris with two goals and one assist for three point.  In net the Golden Rams are led by Presley Fiorilli who is 1-4 with a 5.60 GAA and a .883 save percentage.
