All Eyes Set on CHE Playoffs

Vulcans going towards their 11th CHE Title and Fourth Straight

California, PA- Friday night begins the Vulcans quest for an 11th College Hockey East title and their fourth straight.  Over the past 12 years the Vulcans have played in the College Hockey Championship game in each of those seasons only losing once to Pitt-Johnstown in 2014.

Friday- Semi-Final Games

7:15 pm- #1 California University of Pennsylvania vs. #4 Robert Morris University

9:45 pm- #2 Fredonia State University vs. #3 University of Pitt-Johnstown

Saturday- Championship Game

12:15 pm- Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner

The Vulcans have defeated the Colonials in two of their three meetings this season.  All three games have gone to overtime and the other meeting ending in a tie.  With the other teams in the CHE playoff, the Vulcans hold a 3-1 record this season with the only loss coming to Fredonia State.  Other than the contest that ended in a tie, all the games played against Robert Morris, Fredonia State and Pitt-Johnstown have ended as one goal games.
