The California University of Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Club has postponed all hockey related activities through January 1, 2021. The decision was made after the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) postponed all NCAA activity in recent weeks. Additionally, last week the University made the difficult decision to move to 100% remote learning operations for the fall 2020 semester with no students and only minimal essential staff returning to campus. Due to the current state of the COVID-19 situation and the safety and social distancing concerns that surround it, the California University of Pennsylvania Ice Hockey Club will follow the decisions of the University and the PSAC and delay all ice hockey competition and activities for the fall 2020 semester.
The Cal U Ice Hockey Club will remain operational and welcomes interested individuals to continue to reach out by completing a recruit form at the link below or by contacting one of the coaches also listed below. Current players with questions are also encouraged to reach out to your coaches or support staff.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Rostraver Ice Garden this spring when our season begins. Stay well and Go Vulcans!
California, PA- Due to the recent precautions taken to protect the wellbeing of the Cal U campus we will be postponing our upcoming Mini-Camp. We feel as though this is the best decision at this time for everyone’s safety and will provide more information soon. Should anyone have any questions regarding the cancelation of this year’s Mini-Camp or Vulcans Hockey please contact General Manager Jamison Roth at email@example.com or Assistant General Manager Phil Locante at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to continuing the recruiting process with all interested players and hope to see those that will not be graduating high school this year at future events.
